Dusty Purples

One thing I really love is dusty colors : show me a dusty green, blue, purple,... and I'll instantly love it.
Same thing with nail polishes with hints of grey or purple.
Now given that, it's only obvious that I'd immediately loooove a purple with a strong grey undertone.

So here they are : Essie Merino Cool and Smokin' Hot and Models Own Purple Grey.
The one with the nicesest coverage is without a doubt Purple Grey, you could almost get away with one coat. Merino Cool and Smokin' Hot and were both two coaters.

Word is out that Models Own Purple Grey is a dupe to Chanel Paradoxal minus the shimmer, I must say that I don't really agree with that, Paraxodal's base is definitely both cooler and darker, of course on the nail the shimmer tends to reduce the difference, being a lighter and warmer purple, but I'll let you be the judge of that :

And here's Paradoxal and Smokin' Hot comparison, altough they're totally different :

  1. You should pick up Sally Hansen "Gray Area" and compare it to "Smokin' Hot"!
