Chanel Gold Fingers Swatches and Review

Chanel sees 2012 in gold.
In addition to the "soon-to-be-released" Diwali, news leaked that Chanel had another gold nail polish scheduled to celebrate the reopening of the newly renovated Chanel Bellagio boutique in Las Vegas.

Only available in selected boutiques and limited quantities, Gold Fingers is a very shimmery yellow based gold with a slight green hue. Although it seemed rather sheer on the first coat,  opacity built up quite nicely at two, revealing a very festive sparkle, perfect match for the Las Vegas theme.

Gold Fingers is completely different from the previous Chanel golds in terms of finish, the closest polish I could find was Gold Fiction but as you can see, its green side is much more obvious in comparison.

Overall :
I'll say it again, I'm not such a big gold nail polish fan but it's a lovely color nonetheless... I might try some layering combo to wear it more often ;-)

Gold Fingers is already available at the Las Vegas Belagio boutique. I heard they take phone orders so you might want to give it a try before resorting to extreme mesures.

  1. I usually don't like gold polish either because foils aren't my fave, but I think this is gorgeous.

  5. Precioso dorado. Yo lo reservaría para Noche Vieja o para ponerle alguna estampación en negro o marrón oscuro.
