Rescue Beauty Lounge Moulin Rouge, Grunge & Coral

The Rescue Beauty Lounge collection consists of very few shades : Chinoise, Plié, Coral, Grunge and Moulin Rouge and good news is that the last three have just been restocked!

Moulin Rouge is a very dark burgundy with hints of chocolate. Dark, creamy and timeless, it's pure classiness in a bottle of polish. Formula was no less than what you would expect from RBL, pigmented and easy to apply in two coats.

Grunge is a warm nude with a very slight purple hue and a subtle silver shimmer. I really love it on me and believe me I'm very picky with nudes! I also found formula rather good for such a light shade and I used 2 coats but you might need a third one if you don't wait long enough between coats.

Coral is very bright and saturated pink based coral. I must say that I didn't expect it to have such a strong pink tint and I love love love it!!! It's so fresh and vivid at the same time that I might very well just go ahead and call it my favorite coral ever! I also used 2 coats and they applied like a dream.

Overall :
I"m merely paraphrasing Ji Baek, the owner and creator of Rescue Beauty Lounge, but I can see how these polishes would be considered perfect color-wise and wouldn't require further tweaking or 2.0 versions. I love Moulin Rouge for its vampiness, Grunge because it's an amazing palette cleanser (that suits me for once) and well Coral because it's pure awesomeness! I'm so happy they're back in stock ♥

Moulin Rouge, Grunge and Coral can be purchased directly on Rescue Beauty Lounge and retail for $20 each (12ml / 0.4 fl.oz). International shipping available.

  6. Love these swatches, thank you! all of them look so dreamy and tempting. Can I ask for a comparison of Dior Lucky and RBL Coral pretty please? I am always searching for the perfect coral for my skintone and these 2 are on my radar, big time.

  7. On my monitor, Coral looks just like Diamond Cosmetics polish, Warm Coral. I have Grunge (which looks far better on you than on my pale, cool toned skin), and Moulin Rouge which I love. However, I find that RBL polishes have a long drying time. Do you find this to be true as well?

  12. I like them all a lot, but I've been debating about Grunge. Is it worth the investment? Is it that different? (Regardless, I wouldn't turn it down if it somehow made my acquaintance...lol...)

  14. I will definately keep Grunge in mind, as I have such a hard time finding a warm nude that suits me. I had bought Tickle-my-France as everyone said it is warm toned, but it looked horribly cool on me. My skin is quite yellow toned and and I will maybe try this one.
