KBShimmer Summer collection review. Part 2 : corals, pinks and purples

Hi guys!
First I'd like to thank you for all the lovely messages and comments on the blog and social media since yesterday. It really means the world to me that you'd take out of your time, you are the best!

Today, as promised, I have the second half of my KBShimmer Summer collection review with nothing but warm tones : corals, pinks and purples!

Mixed Peelings

"There is something about summer that makes me crave rainbow sherbet.  The cool and sweet citrus flavor of the lime and orange, the tart raspberry, yummy!  This creamy creally polish was inspired be the neon pastel look of that summertime treat.  In a creamy off white base floats glitters in neon green, lemon yellow and watermelon pink.  This polish is a refreshing change from heavy winter colors.  The matte glitters can be a bit thicker, so use 1-2 coats of Clearly On Top for a smooth, shiny finish."

If you've tried any of the KBShimmer white glitters then you know that they're the absolutely best out there. I have no idea how Christy Rose does it but they're always perfectly formulated with an easy 2 coater white base and crisp colorful glitters peaking through. A soft pastel with an extra pop of color!

You’re So Shellfish

"You’re So Shellfish is a bold addition to our cream collection.  This peachy orange is near neon in color, adding a punch of color to your summer pedicure."

Wow neon much? This is such a hot orange, it made my camera freak out. Eye-searing and totally amazing, good to go in 2 coats.

Radiant Orchid

"Radiant Orchid, 2014 color of the year, is the ideal shade to transition nails from spring to summer and even fall.  This pink toned purple has fuchsia and mauve undertones.  This color, based on the actual PMS, is as close as we could get to the perfect orchid shade.  Two easy coats offers full coverage on most nail lengths."

Nothing too fancy about this particular polish except maybe for the flawless formulation and exquisite color. If you haven't found your perfect Radiant Orchid creme, this one might very well be it. Shown below : 2 coats plus topcoat.

Scribble Me This

"In the city, on passing trains, on forgotten building graffiti covers surfaces.  Some are just tags, but some are works of art.  Scribble Me This is our nod to graffiti artwork.  Pops of neon color in pink and green set off purple, aqua blue, and black glitters.  Mini stars, triangles, circles and hex glitters complete this glitter top coat."

This probably is the most fun, unique and edgy glitter topper I have seen in a long time! I love love love the mix of shaped pieces, triangles, hexes and stars but also the vibrant color range they come  in. I am not a shape glitter lover but I am indeed head over heels for this one.

Peak My Interest

"Triangle Glitter!!  Yes, I know, I was excited too.  And what better to show off triangles then a watermelon colored polish.  This pink polish with a coral undertone is the perfect summer shade.  Peak My Interest features triangle glitters in white, pink and dark aqua. Hex glitters in periwinkle, white and dark aqua complete this polish."

A nice twist on the regular pink glitters, the subdued periwinkle and white glitters combined with vivid blue make a completely unexpected mix and literally pop out of the squishy watermelon base. Again, 2 coats were sufficient for me.

Look High And Holo

"I have a weakness for holographic glitters, and jelly finish polishes, and rainbows.  I know, I have a lot of weaknesses.  So when thinking I wanted a raspberry colored jelly for summer, I thought that nothing could make it better then loading it with holographic glitters!  We added a rainbows worth of holo hexes and a scattering of holo squares.  When this polish hits the light, the glitters just sparkle adding tons of depth to this jelly."

Yet another perfectly executed KBShimmer sandwich-style glitter jelly. Blue and holo pieces against a raspberry base or how to not look boring or too girly. 2 coats are shown below.

Overall :
I think I've already said it a million times but seriously if you love a KBShimmer polish you will not be disappointed once you'll try it on. Formula is super fantastic and glitter pay-off probably one of the best of the indie world.
My favorites this time around : You’re So Shellfish and Scribble Me This!

If you've made it here, thank you so much for reading and don't hesitate to let me know in the comments which one(s) you like best!
