Holiday vacations over, only 2 work days and yet it feels like Christmas and NYE were ages ago. I'm not sure I'm already over Winter manicures yet so if you're anything like me, you'll love the new Glam Polish Hairspray collection.
"The Hairspray Collection is a rainbow of holographic shades featuring lots of shimmer, glass flecks and microglitter inspired by the costumes and songs from the 2007 Movie".
Formula and application were consistent in the entire collection. Pigmented and easy to work with, I used 2 coats on all of my swatches.
Big, Blonde & Beautiful is a shimmery yellow with a green hue and a faint holographic effect. It's a pretty unique color, probably not for everyone but I can see myself wearing it a lot in the Summer. Formula was surprisingly good for a yellow.
New Girl in Town is a coral holo with rose and peach glass flecks, exquisite. It looks like a muted neon somehow, with extra sparkles, so pretty!
Timeless to Me is a bright red holo with pink shimmer and peach glass flecks. Such a rich and saturated color, right up my alley. Ok I admit that I have a thing for reds :D
Hey Mama is a blue based pink holo with a mix of pink and rainbow glass flecks. I'm not a fan of girly pinks and this one's anything but.
Without Love is a fuchsia/purple holo with violet purple and rose glass flecks. I wish the holo was a bit more visible but it's a gorgeous shade of purple nonetheless.
Nicest Kids in Town is a grass green holo with shimmer and turquoise glass flecks. I tend to prefer cooler greens but I have to admit that it's super hot!
Ladies Choice is a stunning aqua holo with turquoise flecks and strong pink shimmer. I know the shimmer doesn't really translate in my swatch, pink shimmers are just the worst to capture.
Welcome to the 60's is a gold ultra holo glitter with a mix of matte white and pink holographic microglitters. So sparkly! And fully opaque by the second too.
Run and Tell That is a silver ultra holo glitter in a tinted base with a mix of black and white microglitters. Again, lots of sparkle and a great opacity.
