Guest Post : Rie from Nails and Noms wears a sexy yet classy lace mani!

Hi everyone! For thos of you who don't know Rie, she has a beautiful picture oriented blog and features a lot of gorgeous nail art designs!

Hey Everyone! When Sam asked me if I would like to do a guest post for her blog I'm pretty sure I did a victory shout and a fist pump in my living room.
Fashion Polish was one of the first blogs I really got into when my nail polish
obsession  love was just taking over my life. ~_^ After calming down and surviving the strange looks from my boyfriend and roommates I calmly replied with a "HECK YES!", and then went into panic/brainstorm mode.

I love doing guest posts because it gives me the chance to play with my poor neglected metal stamping plates and nail art ideas, something that I don't do often enough over at Nails and Noms. ^_^ I decided that I wanted to try a lace manicure, which I've seen pop up on various blogs and fashion sites, and have always loved how they looked.

So swanky! Since I didn't have access to real lace for this look I decided go the nail art plate route to get a similar effect. I think it turned out pretty dang great for my first attempt!

I started off with 2 coats of Cruisin' Nude by Cult Nails, which is a really nice beige nude with a subtle pink shimmer. Then for my stamping with the nail art plates I used my go-to polish, Black Creme by Wet n Wild.

For the floral design I used Red Angel Nail Plate RA-109. Then I went back over each nail with the fishnet design from Konad Nail Plate M57. I topped everything off with a good coat of Seche Vite and called it a day.

I'm really loving the way this manicure turned out! I feel like I should be going to some posh underground nightclub in a little black dress with digits this fancy. :p

That's it for today folks! I really hope you enjoyed my attempt at stamped lace nails and I want to thank the wonderful Sam again for letting me drop in on her wonderful blog for a day!
