There's no introduction to Illamasqua. Probaly one of the most creative make up companies, every new release is a work of art.
An explosion of your alter ego, Human Fundamentalism is about becoming who you are and not what society tells you to be. Beauty isn’t about conformity but the fundamental human desire to express your inner beauty on the outside.
Rise above mainstream limitations and join our world where individuality is received with celebration not derision: break the mould to show strength not instability.
Embracing our glorious imperfections and showing the world we’re not ordinary but
extraordinary is what Illamasqua stands for.
We’re beyond conformity, celebrating instead freedom of expression. We’re beyond hiding who we really are. We are not a religion, but the singular opposite.
We are Illamasqua.
Nomad is somewhere between jade and mint green. It's super creamy and very bright but so wearable at the same time (i.e. no lobster hands!). Formula was nice and opaque, a little bit streaky but definitely manageable, I used 2 self-levelling coats in the swatches below.
Stance is a gorgeous vivid fuchsia purple but a nightmare to photograph. I've had a hard time trying to get my swatches color accurate but I simply don't think they do it justice. It's actually a bit warmer in real life, so intense and saturated! The first coat applied like a jelly but opacity built up perfectly with the second one, leaving no visible nail line whatsoever.
I really love both of these polishes, they are beautiful and completely different from this season's other collections. They will not disappoint!
Nomad and Stance are already available at Illamasqua.com and retail for £13.50.
And now, some Human Fundamentalism spam! *drools*
