Lime Crime Les Desserts d'Antoinette

I am sure you are all familiar with Lime Crime make up.
Highly color saturated, vivid and theatrical looks are exactly what to be expected from the brand created by the Makeup artist and Unicorn Queen Doe Dreere.

To the delight of all nail polish fanatics, Lime Crime has recently added 7 lacquer shades to their colorful range :
  • Milky Ways
  • Crema de Limon
  • Peaches ♥ Cream
  • Parfait Day
  • Lavendairy
  • Once in a Blue Mousse
  • Pastelchio

Milky Ways
Off white creme with a nude tint

Crema de Limon
Pastel yellow creme

Peaches ♥ Cream
Saturated pastel orange creme

Parfait Day
Pastel blue base pink creme

Lavendairy
Pastel warm based lavender creme

Once in a Blue Mousse
Light Tiffany blue creme

Pastelchio
Saturated lime green creme

Formula was consistent and surprisingly good for pastels. They all applied rather nicely in two coats and dried to a glossy finish.
I'm really loving this collection and how saturated all of the colors are, definitely a nice alternative to your regular pastels!

Les Desserts d'Antoinette can be purchased directly from limecrimemakeup.com. The nail polishes retail for $5.99 each or $39.99 for the set (9 ml / 0.3 fl.oz).

  7. Apparently there is drama involved regarding the owner of this company, sending vicious legal letter to a blogger forcing her to take down a review of her make-up products.

  8. @Palaginghuli thank you for pointing that out! I've only just discovered about that a few hours ago, after publishing the review obviously, and I'm still kind of processing that information. It leaves me with a bitter taste about the whole thing and I'm still undecided about whether to add a "disclaimer" to the post or take it down altogether... Either way, it will be when I get home after today's work day. xx Sam.

  14. That is surprisingly cheap for LC! If I liked neons and pastels I'd be all over this, but I'm all about the vampy.

  17. I love all the shades and I have to say that your photos are amazing, they're very dramatic and you make all your photos look like a beauty ad. Excellent camera work

  19. You know, I think all of the shades are rather generic, and I hate amount that's in there. .3 ounces isn't a lot of polish, especially when you can get a great pastel polish like Illamasqua that comes with .5 ounces for $14, Essie for $8 with .5, OPI for $8.50 and even China Glaze. Pastels are obviously hard, but every brand has some good ones and most have .5 ounces. .3 ounces is a crime.
