Hi girls! I hope you're all having a fantastic weekend so far ;-)
Today I have a new collection to share with you : the Dandy Nails Winter collex!
Dandy nails is a new brand to me and I must say that I was very impressed by the colors and quality of the polishes I tried. I can't wait to read what you all think about them too!
Chilled Down is one of my favorites in this collection, light grey based nude jammed with gold and blue shimmers / micro glitters, so complex and absolutely gorgeous! Formula was flawless, nice and opaque and applied perfectly in 2 coats.
Highest Ground is a foil like blue shimmer incrusted with darker blue micro glitter. It reminds me a lot of Deborah Lippmann Mermaid's Dream (minus the large hexes). This is 2 coats plus topcoats as it tends to dry satin.
Moonglow is a gunmetal grey shimmer with a slight holographic effect. It's a beautiful colors and the holo is visible but still subtle enough to be worn on a daily basis. Smooth with zero patchiness, I used 2 coats plus topcoat here.
Cashmere Night is a warm purple shimmer scattered with blue shimmers that dries to a matte finish. I did not expect it to dry matte and I was completely blown away by how even and self leveling it proved to be. Very opaque, even with the first coat, you're looking at 2 coats, no topcoat.
Of course, I couldn't resist topcoating it ;-)
Bory-Alice is a black based shimmer with a blue to purple duochrome. It was the most sheer of the collection and would require 2 to 3 coats for full coverage and intensity. This is 2 coats plus topcoat.
And now the extra!
Bathed in Light is not part of the Winter collection but I found it so breathtaking that I specially requested it to be able to share it with you! Grey base with a really strong fuchsia flash as well as a ton of small holographic glitters : intense, saturated, sparkly,... LOVE! Two coats in these swatches ♥
So what do you think girls? Anything piques your interest?
Dandy Nails polishes are available for purchase on Etsy in both full size ($8) and minis ($4.50) or Ninja Polish ($9.50, international shipping available).
