New Lacquer Lust colors for 2014!

Hi everyone!
How's your week so far? I'm leaving for The Netherlands next Friday to visit my friends there and I can't stop thinking about it! It seems to me like it's been so long since my last visit, a little over a year and a half actually. I hope you're ready for some Dutch nail polish posts!

Today I have swatches of some of the new Lacquer Lust 2014 releases : shimmers, holos, duochromes and... my personal collab with Joanne!

Fashionably Late (my collab!!!) is a deep greyed out blue with tons of pink sparkles as well as iridescent flakies. Of course I absolutely LOVE it, especially the contrast between the  dusty base and the bright sparkles! I used 2 coats plus topcoat in my swatches below.

Holy Grail is a dark navy blue/purple/orange/gold multichrome with a really strong color changing effect combined with a subtle holo. This is one coat over black plus TC.

Lemming is another multichrome/holo combo : sapphire/purple/gold. It's also really intense and required one coat over black for full effect.

Lusty Loon is the last multichrome/holo : bright green/mauve/purple. Again, I used 1 coat over black for full effect.

Double Shot is a cool brown vampy with a strong linear holo. I'm not particularly fond of browns in general but I'd wear browns like this one anytime! Formula was flawless and applied like in dream, this is 2 coats.

Burning The Midnight Oil  is a teal jelly base packed with gold, green and copper shimmers. I'm not sure my swatch is completely color accurate, it was such a pita to photograph correctly! This is also 2 coats pls topcoat.

And finally Red Light Special is a vivid red jelly jammed with pink shimmers and iridescent flakies. I find the name particularly fitting for such a bold and glorious red! Again 2 coats plus topcoat used below.

Overall :
There's something for everyone in these new releases! I don't think I could ever get tired of holos or duochromes but I have to say that the shimmers look particularly stunning here!

What do you think about these new colors? What's your favorite finish in general?
