LACC La Couleur Couture swatches and review

You might remember that I posted three LACC polishes a little while ago... Well today, I'm really excited because I have the entire range to share with you!

If you've missed the first review feat. 1945, 1948 & 1976, please follow this link ;-)

All of these swatches were done with :
2012, thin long wearing base coat
and 2013, thin fast drying top coat.

1950 : bright blue base pink crelly. Perfect formula and application. This is two coats.

1957 : soft pink crelly with a very subtle silver + pink shimmer. Formula was less pigmented and required three thin coat for complete coverage.

1960 : bold medium pink crelly with coral undertones, slightly darker and warmer than 1950. Flawless application and a true two-coater.

1963 : greyed out apricot orange crelly. Again, easiest application ever and two coats for perfect coverage.

1964 : muted orange crelly. As easy to work with but definitely more opaque than all of the previous shades, it did require two thin coats as well.

1972 : dusty lavender crelly, just outside pastel category. Easy application and a true two-coater.

1977 : perfect muted turquoise crème. I love this one so much! Two easy coats for complete coverage below.

1992 : sheer pink tinted nude. A bit streaky on the first coat, it required three thin coats for full opacity.

2011 : cool toned pastel yellow infused with silver shimmer. Formula wasn't bad at all for such a pale yellow but did require three thin coats as well.

Overall :
These completely confirm the first impression of high quality products I had about La Couleur Couture. The color range isn't the most ambition (or bold) ever but there are a few gems IMO. My favorites in here are 1977, 1964, 1963 or 1960 but I also loved 1968 (very close to Chanel Jade) and 1976.

  4. I envy you so much for having such an amazing polishes in the place you live. I also have possibility to buy good polishes as China Glaze, Opi, Essie and many others but I would still like to try others. What I noticed is that they almost always have unique colours :) Love from Poland!
